Cosy place for having Sunday roast. Service is friendly.

What a find this place was. Competitively priced for the area, great selection of food. 2 great pasta dishes for our table and rack of ribs were lovely. The table next to us went for the Sunday roast and I looked on enviously at their choice.
Away from the crowds and easy to miss. Between StPauls and Blackfriars it’s well worth seeking out.

Surprisingly delicious meal! My husband loved the fish and chips, I got the chicken and it was sooo good! We were blown away by the sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

Demi Bush

Great food! Bar service was average, drinks were ok but not top notch mixology. The surf and turf steak was very good.

Great find on a back street in the West End of London. Away from the hustle and bustle of Fleet/Strand but still close enough to walk from the hotel. Small and quaint restaurant, robust and flavorful food. Recommend the pesto, lobster fritters!!!!

Erin Sierer

We were their first brunch customers one Saturday morning. The food was wonderful, as were the lattes, and it was a short walk to St Paul’s and the Millennium Bridge. A great find nestled in a little street.

Very nice

Es war während eines 14 tägigen Urlaubes das beste Essen, welches in einem Restaurant serviert worden war.
Auch in Deutschland findet man selten eine so gute Qualität.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming restaurant and pub that quickly became one of my favorite spots in town. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with dim lighting and rustic decor that gave the place a warm and inviting vibe.

Found this little gem for lunch. We were immediately welcomed and shown to a table. The service was excellent. The food was lovely. We will return.

Beautiful food, nice atmosphere, very friendly and accommodating staff. We came across this hidden gem as we were staying that side of london and looking for somewhere to go for dinner and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend.

Such a lovely find, off the beaten track. Delicious food, great staff, reasonably priced for the quality.

Lovely square to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. Delicious food and great service.

A quiet find on the “back-streets” a short walk South from St Paul’s Cathedral.
On a lovely warm May evening we met under the trees (surprising, given the area) of their casual garden to enjoy surprisingly spicy Negronis.
Then headed into the main restaurant for our 8:15 reservation.
The welcome was inviting and the atmosphere, with our window seat, was nice (good for conversation)

Nice restaurant near Blackfriars station. Recommended to us.

Paul Marsden

Nice range of good food. Excellent service conveniently close to Blackfriars station.

Anwar and the exceptional team at the Glean truly exceeded our expectations, leaving us with an unforgettable experience. We recently had the privilege of hosting a private dinner party for the finalists of the National Student Negotiation Competition for England and Wales 2024 at the Glean Restaurant and Bar.

The Glean Restaurant is pretty close to the Air BnB we stayed in so we gave it a shot and it was really good. The staff was very friendly and the food is delicious. I strongly recommend the Glean Burger with cheese but the brownie is even better. My wife had a steak that looked a little bit lost on the plate but also was very delicious! If you are looking for a nice little restaurant with a great atmosphere then this is the place to go – trust me.
